Every model offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. New this year, Toyota has done an across-the-line upgrade to RAV4’s connectivity systems, introducing Toyota Multimedia. When weather or terrain demands it, the system automatically redistributes power up to 50/50 front/rear for enhanced traction. Under normal driving conditions, the system directs 100 per cent of torque to the front wheels to maximize efficiency. The electronic on-demand all-wheel-drive system features a dedicated electric motor at each wheel to channel torque where needed. The RAV4 Hybrid’s powertrain is centred around a 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine, powerful motor-generators, continuously variable transmission, and efficient storage batteries. ![]() Furthermore, Toyota adds the XLE Premium and the limited production Woodland Edition to the hybrid lineup, which now counts eight separate trim levels. ![]() For 2023, the entire RAV4 lineup is enhanced with standard Safety Sense 2.5 and the Toyota Multimedia connectivity system.
